Common Admission Test (CAT) The most awaited admission test in India is administered through the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). The score of CAT is used by 20 IIMs as well as over 1000 other management institutions across the country to determine eligibility. More than 2 lakh students take the test every year.

The CAT test was first introduced in 1950, and was transformed into an online entrance examination in 2009.
