How Does The Credit Transfer Work?
- Credit Collection
Students at AKTU collect credits of each semester and the credits earned are kept in an ABC account which is digitized and linked to aadhaar. - Credit Spending
The students are allowed to transfere their credit to other institutions participating in ABC. For example, an AKTU B.Tech student has the opportunity to join IIT Bombay mid course without losing any credits. - Multi-Entry/Exit Option
Students have the option of pausing their studies after 1st or 2nd year and coming back at a later date with same accumulated credits. Advantages for AKTU Students
Direct transfers from other universities: IITs/IIMs/NITs
No academic time loss while changing universities
Flexible time – blend online and physical classes (accepting SWAYAM/NPTEL credits)
Accomplished degree faster by claiming prior credits
TK Instructions to Transfer Credits

- Verify Aadhaar and link with enrolment at AKTU
- Check Credit Balance (1 credit = 30 study hours)
