In a significant reshuffle of Asian academic excellence, The Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2025 have been officially released. While Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore retains its title as India’s best-ranked institution, it has slipped from 32nd to 38th in the continent. Surprisingly, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is no longer on the list, raising eyebrows across the academic community.
