President of Mozambique, himself an Alumni of IIMA Visits the Campus

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad welcomes Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, the president of the republic of Mozambique to the campus of IIMA , While Filipe Jacinto Nyusi was on a visit to India and met Professor Bharat Bhasker, Professor Pradyumana Khokle, Sunil Maaheshwari and more such respected officials, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as usual welcomes the dignitaries with whole heart and respect presenting them a shawl and a momento. However President Nyusi loved the warm gesture.
The most interesting fact about the visit was that President Nyusi himself was an alumni of the Indian Institute of management Ahmedabad and graduated in the year 2003. He enjoyed the tour and went into a sweet nostalgia crossing the corridors of IIM.
Filipe Jacinto Nyusi also had a meeting with the Prime Minister of India where PM Narendra Modi mentioned his journey with IIM tagging IIM Ahmedabad on Twitter, Randhir Jaiswal on Nyusi and Modi’s meet quoted ” In the Both leaders held fruitful discussions on ways to further bilateral ties, including in the areas of defence, counter-terrorism, energy, health, trade & investment, capacity building, maritime cooperation and people to people ties.”
