The Dr Kiran C Patel Centre for Sustainable Development (KPCSD) with the union of IIT Gandhinagar is organizing an online event. The discussion topic of the event is “Safeguarding the future of the Whale Shark”, a marine mega fauna along with the western coast of India.
Whale Sharks are giant creatures of sea. They play a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance of sea and ocean. These creature are important for maintaining marine balance. We need to work for preserving the whale sharks so that our marine ecosystem remains healthy.
About the Speaker
Dr B C Choudhary is the speaker of the session. He is a wildlife biologist. He is well known for his extensive work done for sustainable growth and development of wildlife. He has done a lot for safeguarding marine environment.
The online seminar is organized by KPCSD. It provides a platform for students, mentors, scientists, researchers, environmentalists and also the general crowd. Participants can join the session and understand each and every aspect of marine ecosystem. Participants will also know about the behavior of the whale shark and other information related to them. A collaborative action is required to safeguard these beautiful creatures of marine system.
The Dr Kiran C Patel Centre for Sustainable Development has always worked for preserving the ecosystem. It has always done various promotional events in this regard. It is a virtual event.
