Tomorrow marks the final day for applicants to register for the Andhra University’s (AU) counselling for the AP PGCET 2023. The registration price for the AP PGCET counselling 2023 is Rs. 700 for OC and BC applicants and Rs. 500 for SC, ST, and PH students.

On September 21 and 22, the university will physically perform the certificate verification for specific categories. According to an official release from the institution, “Special category candidates such as PH, CAP, NCC, and sports, the certificate verification will be done physically at HLC, Andhra Loyola College, Sentini Hospital Road, Veterinary Colony, Vijayawada.”

AP PGECET 2023: Impotant Guidance
The AP PGECET 2023 Counselling process uses both the GATE/GPAT Qualification and the AP PGECET. Only those applicants who pass either exam will be invited to Andhra University’s counselling sessions.
- Candidates having current PGECET, GATE, and GPAT results will get separate counselling.
- On the day of counselling, candidates must have all of their original documentation validated.
- If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling session, the seat will be given to the following applicant.
- A further round of counselling will be held to award admission to postgraduate courses to the students who have passed the GATE and GPAT entrance exams.

Ans. Candidates who graduated from pharmacy school with a 55% GPA and from engineering school with a 50% GPA are eligible to take the AP PGECET exam. A 5% relaxation applies to candidates who fall within the reserved category.
Q. I have legitimate GPAT results; should I take the AP PGECET in 2023?
Ans. No, GPAT test takers can apply directly for AP PGECET Counselling through GATE/GPAT. Candidates must sign up for counselling online via web-option entry or offline.
