The WBJEE JELET 2023 seat allocation results for the first round have been released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). Candidates can now log in to wbjeeb.nic.in and see the WB JELET seat allocation 2023 result by entering the necessary information. There hasn’t been any other method used to announce the WBJEE JELET 2023 seat allocation.

Eligibility Criteria for JELET 2023

Before applying for the exam, all applicants must meet the WBJEEB’s JELET 2023 eligibility criteria.

  • Nationality: The aspirant must be a citizen of India.
  • Age Restrictions: Diploma holders in Engineering/Pharmacy/Technology have no age restrictions. The upper age restriction for B.Sc candidates is 27 years as of December 31, 2023, and for Diploma in Marine Engineering applicants is 25 years.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidates with a diploma in engineering/pharmacy/technology must have obtained 45% marks from an AICTE-accredited polytechnic institute/pharmacy institute. Candidates with a B.Sc. degree must have graduated with 45% from a UGC-accredited university. Candidates must also have completed Class XII with mathematics as a subject.

How to verify the WBJEE JELET Seat allocation for 2023

Candidates can use the instructions provided to check the WB JELET seat allocation for 2023.

  • Check out wbjeeb.nic.in
  • Select the seat allocation link.
  • Candidates will need to provide their password and JELET 2023 roll number.
  • The ‘Sign In’ button should be clicked.
  • The outcome of the seat allocation will be shown on the screen.

The distribution of seats was done in accordance with the candidate’s desire, rank, and seat availability. By September 16, all of the allocated candidates must confirm their admission. The candidates must appear to the designated college, pay the cost, and have their credentials verified in order to receive confirmation of admission. The candidates’ allocation will be cancelled if they don’t confirm their admission by the due date.

The authorities will release the seat allocation results for the second round of WBJEE JELET 2023 counselling on September 18. No new choice filling will be accepted for the JELET counselling 2023 second round.

WB JELET 2023 Seat Allotment: Instructions

  • Depending on the number of seats available at the institution at the time of counselling, the authorities will decide which applicants to admit.
  • The authority will choose how many seats to supply if there aren’t enough seats available for the course of choice.
  • Before registering, applicants must make sure they are eligible for the WB JELET 2023 counselling process.
  • The candidates must have taken the JELET 2023 exam, finished it in good standing, and been awarded a General Merit Rank (GMR).
  • Online enrollment is required for JELET counselling 2023 applicants.
  • For counselling, candidates must have paid the registration fee.

 WB JELET 2023: Document Required

Applicants who are chosen or placed on the waiting list must provide their admit card, identification photos, the appropriate application fee, and the originals and self-attested photocopies of all mark sheets and certificates that must be submitted with the application for admission form.  Applicants who fail to submit these required documents will be denied admission. The following are important documents for admission:

  • JELET admission card and rank card both for 2023.
  • statements of grades and a degree or provisional certificate from the qualifying test.
  • Certificates of Conduct and Transfer.
  • Certificates and Marksheets for Classes X and XI.
  • Certificate of Domicile.
  • six passport-size pictures.
  • Identity proof (such as an Aadhar card, voter identification, driver’s license, passport, or PAN card).
  • Certificate for the appropriate category.
  • Certificate of Migration (if appropriate).
