Tomorrow, the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) will close registrations for the second phase of National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (Uttarakhand NEET) PG counselling 2023. Candidates interested in participating in the Uttarakhand NEET PG counselling 2023 round 2 can register online at hnbumu.ac.in.

Candidates who wish to participate in the second round of counselling must pay the registration fee by 4 p.m. tomorrow. Those who have already registered and candidates who wish to upgrade their seats without paying the registration cost may do so until August 31.

The following are the steps to register for Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2023:

  • Navigate to the official website hnbumuexams.com.
  • Select ‘New Registration’.
  • Read the declaration, accept it, and move forward.
  • Enter your cellphone number, NEET registration number, and application number.
  • Pay the Uttarakhand NEET 2023 registration fee by entering the captcha.

On September 1 at 1 p.m., the university will publish the state merit list for round 2. “The schedule and procedure for Round 3 and stray vacancy round counselling will be uploaded separately,” the institution added.

HNBUMU has extended the deadline for students to surrender, withdraw, or resign from seats assigned in round 1 counselling without paying the cost until 5 p.m. today. “No candidate will be allowed to surrender the seat allotted under round 1 Uttarakhand NEET PG counselling after 5 p.m.,” the institution said in an official statement.

NEET 2023 Counselling:  Eligibility Criteria in Uttarakhand

Candidates who intend to participate in the Uttarakhand NEET 2023 counselling must meet the following eligibility requirements.

  • They must be Indian citizens.
  • They must have passed the NEET 2023.
  • They must be Uttarakhand residents.

Candidates who are not Uttarakhand residents but have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 at an approved Uttarakhand institute are also eligible to apply for Uttarakhand NEET 2023 counselling. Such candidates, however, are not eligible to petition for reservations under the reserved category.

  • Birth Certificate or marksheet of Class 10
  • Passing certificate of Class 12
  • Class 12 marksheets
  • NEET Admit Card 2023
  • NEET Result 2023 (rank letter)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate given by the Director-General’s Special Medical Board (if applicable).
  • Children of Kashmiri Migrants must provide the relevant documentation.
  • Domicile Certificate (Only for candidates from Uttarakhand)
  • Photo ID proof that is valid, not expired, and authentic (Aadhaar card/Passport/PAN card/Driving Licence)

Seat allocation chart

HNBUMU will publish the Uttarakhand NEET 2023 result in the form of a seat allotment list. The state merit list and the candidates’ choices will be used to create the seat allotment list. They will now have the option to accept or reject the seat that has been assigned to them. Candidates who do not intend to remain in their assigned seat may participate in the second round of counselling.

Those who choose to continue with the seat assigned to them must report to the particular institute for document verification and confirmation of their admission. They can, however, choose to upgrade and participate in the second stage of Uttarakhand NEET counselling 2023.
