Winter internship for non-IIT students offered by IIT Bhubaneswar
IIT Bhubaneswar offers winter internship programs to undergraduate students at government-funded technical institutes as well as candidates recommended by various academies. It will begin on December 3 and run until December 31.
During the institute’s winter break, the internship’s duration will not be fewer than three weeks nor more than four weeks. By going to the institute’s website, candidates can submit an online application. Before compiling a final list of chosen students, the institute will carefully review all applications submitted by students.
According to official sources, after assessing their applications, the institute would also admit deserving students from private universities. “Many students were unable to pursue their education at IITs.” Throughout the program, they will have access to resources and the IIT learning environment.
They will experience IIT’s educational environment and have access to its resources during the program, according to an IIT Bhubaneswar official.
The School of Basic Sciences, Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Infrastructure, Mechanical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, and Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering all offer internship opportunities for students. These students have access to the lab and other academic resources here.
The students selected for internships may be given access to hostel lodgings, if any are available, in exchange for paying the associated fees. According to a notice released by the institute, students are responsible for covering the costs of food and access to other services.
After the internship has ended, students are required to present a report of their work.
The institute will issue students a “Training Completion Certificate.” However, based on the official sources, no credit will be given for the work that the interns produced while participating in the program .
