It’s enlightening that the Telangana delegation visited the holy Buddhist site of Sarnath and was apprised of its significance. Also, the youth delegation visited Dhamek Stupa, archeological sites, and the Museum. Through this historical visit, they got to know about Buddhist history and heritage.
Why do they visit the holy Buddhist site of Sarnath?
Sarnath is located in Varanasi-10 kilometers northeast near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. Gautama Buddha first taught the Dhamma in the deer park in Sarnath where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna. Also, it is one of the four most important pilgrimage sites in the world for Buddhists. Below is some of the reason why people come to visit Sarnath:

About BHU:
Banaras Hindu University which is properly known as BHU is one of the most demanding colleges in India and the candidates try their best to take admission in it. It is a collegiate, central, and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, and founded in 1916. This BHU was founded by Indian Home Rule-leaguer and Theosophist, Annie Besant in 1898. Also, the university incorporated the Central Hindu College.
