Today marks the conclusion of the option-filling and option-locking phase of the state National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2023, according to the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC).
Through the official website, wbmcc.nic.in, candidates who enrolled for the West Bengal NEET PG medical and MDS programmes would be able to fill out and lock their choices. On October 7 around 4 pm, the authority will release the seat allotment results for the NEET PG, MDS stray vacancy phase of counselling.

To ensure their admission to the postgraduate studies in the medical and dentistry departments, those who received seats through the stray round must report to the colleges with original certificates and admission fees from October 9 to 10 till 4 pm. For the WB NEET PG counselling stray vacancy round, the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee released the seat matrix and list of verified candidates on October 4.
Documents Needed for West Bengal NEET PG Counselling in 2023
The following papers must be presented by applicants in order to be admitted to the designated institute via the stray round.
- Verified slip and allotment letter
- 4 copies of recent passport size photograph
- NEET PG 2023 or NEET MDS 2023 admit card and rank card
- Final MBBS or BDS marksheet
- MBBS, BDS degree certificate or provisional degree certificate
- Permanent registration certificate
- Domicile certificate
- PwD certificate
Enrollment Fee
- A candidate must pay the registration cost in order to take part in NEET PG 2023 counselling.
- The NEET PG 2023 counselling registration cost must be paid online using Net Banking, a credit card, or a debit card.
- The registration cost is split into two parts: refundable and nonrefundable.

Choice filling: WB NEET PG Counselling 2023
Candidates must now select their preferred institutions and courses from the list provided on MCC. Candidates are free to select whatever many alternatives they like. After being selected, the options will shift from the left side of the page to the right side. Options on the list can be added or removed.
Candidates are advised to check the choices filled before submitting them as the seat allocation will be done on the basis of the same. Candidates should lock the choice otherwise it will be automatically locked after the due date. Also, they must keep a copy of the choices filled for future use.
How to fill the NEET PG Seat Allocation Choice in 2023
- Visit the MCC website and sign in using your registration information.
- Fill up your college and course preferences for NEET PG seat allocation 2023.
- To add a new option, click the ‘+’ button.
- Drag the order of choice filled to the desired location to rearrange it.
- To secure the final selections as desired by candidates, click’save and next’.
