UPSSSC Recruitment Notification 2023: Registration process for junior assistant, clerk begin on September 12

On its official website, upsssc.gov.in, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the opening of 3,831 positions, including clerk, junior assistant (JA), and assistant level 3.
The UPSSSC clerk, JA, online registration period will run from September 12 through October 3, 2023. Candidates must pay a Rs. 25 online application fee if they fall under one of the following categories: unreserved (UR), scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or other backward caste (OBC).
Candidates may sit for the main examination for these positions if they received a passing grade in the UPSSSC preliminary eligibility test (PET) 2022.
The UPSSSC PET 2022 score will be used to create a merit list, and the qualified applicants will be invited to take a written exam. For candidates taking the exam, the commission has set an upper age limit of 40 years old.
The commission has set aside 1,889 seats for general category candidates, while there are, respectively, 770, 83, 763, and 326 posts set out for SC, ST, OBC, and candidates from the economically weaker section (EWS).
On October 10, 2023, the commission will open the rectification window for applicants to alter their details.
The commission officially said that “Candidates who have obtained a negative or zero score in the UPSSSC PET exam 2022 will not be allowed to appear for the main examination.”
Two shifts of the UPSSSC PET exam 2022 were held on October 15 and 16. The exam is being held to fill positions at the Group B and Group C levels of the UPSSSC.

There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years and a maximum age of 40 years for applicants to the UPSSSC. In addition, there is a special category-based relaxation that requires official notification.
