UPSSSC PET 2023: Exam date Out now; October 28, 29 exams scheduled

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) announced that the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 will be held on October 28 and October 29. Candidates can check the official notification on the official website, upsssc.gov.in.
This notice is to advise all applicants for the Preliminary Qualifying Examination 2023 that the proposed dates for the written examination are October 28, 2023 (Saturday), and October 29, 2023 (Sunday).

Step to rectify : UPSSSC PET 2023 application form ?
- Visit the commission’s website at upsssc.gov.in.
- The “Modify submitted application” link should be clicked.
- Use your credentials to log in.
- Change the necessary fields.
Review the application and save it.
The deadline for UPSSSC PET 2023 registration was August 30. Candidates have until September 6 to make changes to their PET 2023 application. Except for the email address and registered mobile number, students may edit any field.

UPSSSC PET 2023 : Eligibility Criteria
- Age Requirement: All applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40. Some protected groups may qualify for age reductions under government laws.
- Candidates must have graduated from high school with a recognised diploma or the equivalent from a recognised board.
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens or meet particular habitation conditions established by the state of Uttar Pradesh.
UPSSSC PET 2023: Selection Process
Only those applicants who perform well on the UPSSSC PET 2023 will be invited to sit for the upcoming Group ‘B & C’ main exams for the relevant jobs after the UPSSSC PET 2023 results have been implemented.
It is necessary to participate in the UPSSSC PET 2023 since anyone who has not registered for the UP PET 2023 will not be eligible to appear in the main Exams against any openings. The following will be the selection procedure for any UPSSSC recruitment:
1. obtaining the necessary score on the PET written test.
2. The relevant post’s main examination
3. Interview and/or skill test (if necessary)
4. Verification of Documentation
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the UPSSSC PET exam. Every inquiry will receive one mark. For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the final score.
Salary, PayScale, Perks, and Benefits : UP PET 2023
According to the official announcement, the PET test will be administered for positions with incomes that are above Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) Grade Pay 1900 and below Pay Scale 2 (9300-34800) Grade Pay 4600.
The roles also come with a number of benefits, such as DA, HRA, and travel expenses, which depending on the position increase the starting take-home pay from Rs 25000 to Rs 37000.
