UP NMMS Scholarship 2023: Registration Opens Today, Test Scheduled on November 5

Today, August 23, is the first day of the registration period for the Uttar Pradesh National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination (UP NMMS). Through the official website, entdata.co.in, students may apply for the UP NMMS scholarship 2023. The UP NMMS application form must be submitted by September 18, 2023. Registration for the scholarship exam is free of charge.

The UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 Application Process
Students can complete the UP NMMS scholarship application form by following the instructions below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website, entdata.co.in,
- Step 2: On the homepage, select the “Apply for UP NMMS Scholarship” option.
- Step 3: Complete the application form carefully and upload the required papers.
- Step 4: Simply click the submit button because there is no application fee.
- Step 5.: Download the UP NMMS application form in
- Step 6: Print out the same page for further use.
The NMMS 2023 exam is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2023, according to the official notification.
UP NMMS Application 2023: Required Documents
The following papers must be uploaded by applicants when they complete the application form:
- school transcript
- income statement
- a picture of the pupil
- Student’s signature
- Caste certificate (required for SC, ST, and other candidates from reserved categories)
- Divyang certification, if any
NMMS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Students must abide by the rules set forth by MHRD in order to qualify for the NMMS and receive additional financial aid. Below are the eligibility requirements for NMMS 2023–24:
- Students must be enrolled in class VIII and have at least a 55% grade in class VII (or a 50% grade in reserved categories).
- The applicant’s parents’ combined annual income cannot exceed Rs. 3,50,00,000.
- Students must receive 55% in classes IX and XI (or 50% for reserved categories) and 60% in class X in order to maintain their scholarship.
- The scholarship is not open to students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, or Sainik Schools.
- Residential school students attending state-run institutions that offer boarding, lodging, and educational services are not eligible to apply.
- Private school students are not eligible to apply for the NMMS 2023–24 exam.

NMMS Uttar Pradesh 2023: Exam Pattern
For the applicants’ reference, the following key details regarding the exam format are listed:
- 1. In the 90-minute entrance exam, candidates must show up on MAT and SAT papers.
- 2. The entrance exam will be administered offline (on paper), not online.
- 3. Candidates are instructed to respond to a maximum of 90 questions for a total of 90 points in the exam.
- 4. In the papers, there will be multiple-choice questions of an objective nature.
- 5. There won’t be any red marks next to incorrect answers on the paper.
- 6. One will mark the paper for the right response.
