Important things while registering for the UGC NET Dec 2023

Candidates are recommended to have the following documents and information available in advance to prevent any delays when registering for UGC NET.

• Board or university transcript
• Ration card, passport, Aadhaar, voter ID, or other government identification number
• an acceptable degree or certificate.

• Certificate for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (if appropriate)

Age Relaxation for UGC NET

Below is information for candidates regarding the age restriction for the UGC NET/JRF exam. Candidates are awarded the relaxation in accordance with the UGC standards established by the Indian government:

1. Candidates from the following groups will receive a five-year age reduction: SC/ST/OBC/female, PwD, and third gender.
2. Depending on the amount of time spent on study, the research scholars will receive an age relaxation of up to five years.
3. Age restrictions of up to three years will apply to LLM candidates.
4. Depending on how long they served in the military, candidates from the armed forces may receive an age relaxation of up to five years.
