UGC NET 2023 result: NTA to release result soon; here’s explained marking scheme, seat reservation

The UGC NET June 2023 results will probably be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) by July 27. Candidates can access the UGC NET result 2023 after it has been released by going to the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates will need login information, including registration numbers and dates of birth, to view the UGC NET 2023 result. The UGC NET June 2023 exam was divided into two phases, the first of which took place from June 13 to June 17 and the second from June 19 to June 22.
Except for the language exams, the NTA UGC NET 2023 question papers were exclusively available in English and Hindi.
According to the UGC NET information brochure, the English translation of a question will be considered authoritative in cases of any ambiguity in its structure or translation, and the NTA’s decision in such cases will be final.
Answer Key for UGC NET June 2023: Marking Scheme
- In the UGC NET June 2023 exam, each question is worth two points.
- Each appropriate response will get the candidate two marks.
- No points are deducted for wrong responses.
- No points will be awarded for questions that are not attempted, not replied, or marked for review.
- The candidate must select the one choice that is the proper response to a question.
- Only those applicants who attempted the question and selected one of the correct answers would receive credit if it was determined that the question was erroneous, confusing, or had numerous valid answers
- Only the candidates who attempted the question will receive two marks if a question is determined to be wrong and is dropped.
UGC NET 2023 Reserving Procedures
The following rules for seat reservations apply to central universities and institutes that are considered to be universities:
i. 15% of the seats go to applicants from Scheduled Castes (SC).
ii. 7.5% of seats go to candidates from Scheduled Tribes (ST).
iii. According to the Central List, 27% of seats are reserved for applicants from Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Non-Creamy Layers (NCL).
iv. 10% of the seats go to candidates from the General-Economically Weaker Sections (General-EWS).
V. 5% of the available seats in the aforementioned categories will go to people with disabilities (PwD) who have a disability of 40% or higher.
STEPS TO CHECK UGC NET 2023 RESULT
The processes listed below must be followed by all applicants in order to check the UGC NET 2023 results:
- View the UGC NET 2023’s official webpage.
- On the homepage, select the “UGC NET JUNE 2023 RESULT” link.
- The qualified candidates’ roll numbers will be presented on the screen as a PDF file.
- Take a printout of it after downloading it for later usage.
UGC NET QUALIFYING MARKS for both Paper 1 and paper 2
The UGC NET has set qualifying marks category wise for both the paper 1 &2.
