Tsinghua University’s “Wen Dao Salon” Tackles Key Issues in Campus Digital Governance Research
On January 2, the fifth “Wen Dao Salon” of Tsinghua University was held in the Second Teaching Building Conference Room. The salon was themed “Campus Digital Governance” to hold discussions with non-party members and to discuss the 2024 multi-party joint research. Qiu Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, attended and spoke, and representatives of various political parties and non-party members of the University participated in the salon.
After listening to the opinions and suggestions of the participating representatives on improving campus digital governance, Qiu Yong emphasized that improving the level of campus digital governance is an important part of improving the modernization of the school’s governance system and governance capabilities, an important starting point for the school’s high-quality development, and an important way to improve the ability to serve teachers and students. The 2024 multi-party joint research work was solid and in-depth, with innovative forms. The opinions and suggestions put forward will be carefully studied and actively absorbed by the school party committee.
Qiu Yong introduced the progress made in the school’s work in 2024 and said that non-Party members are an important force in promoting the development of the school. In the past three years, the multi-party joint research has focused on key and difficult issues in the school’s reform and development and actively contributed good solutions. Some results have been transformed into practical measures to promote the high-quality development of the school. I hope that everyone will continue to give play to their professional advantages and the democratic supervision role of democratic parties, “think together and work together” for the school to further deepen the reform in an all-round way, and look forward to starting a new journey in 2025.
