Tohoku University and KU Leuven Launch Global Seed Fund for Innovative Projects

Tohoku University concluded a university-level academic exchange agreement in April 2024. To continue promoting and encouraging joint research between the two universities, Tohoku University participated in the Global Seed Fund project of KU Leuven last July. KU Leuven selected one joint research project with Tohoku University to receive Seed Fund support for the 2024-2025 academic year. As a result, both universities will support the successful project with research funding for one year in principle (maximum for two years) starting in January 2025.
