The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will begin the correction of applications for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) on Monday, the 8th of November. Candidates who want to change the category, paper, or exam city will be able to edit the information on the internet by visiting gate.iitk.ac.in. Candidates must log in to the portal of candidates with credentials to avail the GATE correction of application 2023. The last day to make corrections on GATE 2023 corrections is November 14th.
To make changes, the candidate will have to pay an additional fee. The form will not be editable after November 14. Hence, candidates must carefully make changes in the application form before the last date.
How to make changes in the GATE 2023 application form
Candidates can go through the below steps for GATE 2023 application form correction.
- Visit the GATE official website – gate.iitk.ac.in.
- Log in using enrollment number/email ID and password.
- Make the necessary changes in the application form of GATE 2023.
- Finally, click on the ‘submit button.
Recently this month, IIT Kanpur announced that Ambajogai city located in the IIT Bombay’s zone has been eliminated due to operational problems. Candidates who chose Ambajogai city as their exam city when filling out application forms will be able to choose the choice of a new city or cities instead of Ambajogai during the GATE 2023 correction of application forms free of charge. IITK is conducting the GATE 2023 examination to determine candidates for admission to various classes for postgraduate students.
Candidates who pass the GATE exam are also qualified for different PSU selections through the GATE examination. It is administered jointly by seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, and Kanpur) as well as in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
