The Deadline for CLAT 2024 is Extended: Check the Last Date Here!

Common Law Admission Test 2024 extends the deadline for registration. The registration was set to close on November 3, 2023, but now the last date to register is November 10, 2023. So, CLAT 2024 UG and PG aspirants have yet another week to apply for the exam! The application link will be closed at 11:59 pm on November 10, 2023. 

Students can apply on the CLAT 2024 official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The CLAT 2024 exam is set to be conducted on December 3, 2023, in offline mode. There are more than 130 centers all over India, also students can get help from the sample papers mentioned on the official website.

How to apply for CLAT 2024?

Interested students can apply for CLAT 2024 by following these simple steps:

  1. Open the official website of CLAT 2024 by clicking on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  2. Click on the application link mentioned on the page.
  3. First, register and log in with your email ID and required credentials.
  4. Fill in your details and credentials in the application form.
  5. Upload the scanned documents as per the requirement.
  6. Pay application fees for CLAT online credit or debit methods are acceptable.
  7. Submit and don’t forget to download your CLAT application form.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2024

  • For undergraduate students: Class 12th passed students with at least 45% marks and up to 40% for SC/ST categories.
  • For postgraduate students: Graduation in law (3 years or 5 years) with 50% aggregate marks and up to 45% for SC/ST categories.
  • No age limit as well as there is no attempt limit i.e. students who appeared in CLAT 2023 can also appear in CLAT 2024.

CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern

An earlier notice by a Consortium of NLUs informed that this year the number of questions has decreased from 150 to 120 for Undergraduate students. There has not been any further notice for postgraduate students so PG exams will be regular.

The mode of examination is offline. And the duration for the same is 2 hours. 

Questions will consist of multiple-choice questions from the comprehension passage. Where 1 mark is allotted for each correct answer and -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
