The new guidelines of the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for admitting students twice a year have brought some good news for the technical colleges that have over 50% vacancies. The new guidelines will revive these colleges as over 5,000 students in Class XII clear their supplementary examination, making them eligible for admission in the Jan intake.
