The Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling schedule for 2023 has been updated by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research. The registration, fee payment, and choice-filling period will finish today, August 3, in accordance with the updated timetable.

On the official website, tnmedicalselection.net, candidates can register for state National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2023 for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in state medical and dental institutes.

The results of the Round 1 seat allocation will be released on August 6. Between August 4 and 5, seat allocation processing will take place. From August 7 to August 11, candidates can download the provisional allotment letter. August 11 at 5 p.m. is the deadline for reporting to the designated institutes.

Candidates will need to pay Rs. 500 for the government quota and Rs. 1,000 for the management quota to fill out their choices online. For government quota seats at independently funded medical, dentistry, and state-run private universities, applicants must also provide a security deposit of Rs. 30,000, and Rs. 1 lakh for management quota seats.

Prior to locking, candidates must review their selections and the order of their preferences and make any necessary changes. Editing will not be possible once the selections have been locked.

Additionally, if a candidate doesn’t lock their choices manually prior to the deadline, they will be locked automatically.
