Students attend live streaming of the Union Budget at AMU

Aligarh: The Economic Society of the Department of Economics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised live streaming of the Union Budget 2025 at two places in the Department, which was attended by the students, research scholars, faculty members and non-teaching staff of the Department.

Prof. Shehroz Alam Rizvi, Chairman, Department of Economics, appreciated the Union Budget 2025. “This budget has covered all the sections as well as all sectors of the economy thereby, promoting inclusive growth in India. It is a pro-poor and pro-middle class budget, and focus on MSME’s and emphasis on the developmental aspects of Bihar are noteworthy”, he said.

The Conveners of the Live Streaming programme were Prof. Shehroz Alam Rizvi (Chairman) and Prof. Mohd.Azam Khan (Incharge- Economic Society), while Dr. Shirin Rais was the Co-Convener of the programme. Miss Neha Qadeer (Secretary, Economic Society) Department of Economics facilitated the Live Streaming of the programme.
