Students at IITH receive 508 offers; the Highest Package is INR 63.78 lakh

IIT Hyderabad Placements: This year, the number of international offers grew from 46 to 54. The hiring procedure was conducted in a mixed format.

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) got 508 offers from 144 organizations during Phase 1 of campus placements, which took place between December 1 and 7.

The hiring procedure was conducted in a mixed format. This year, almost 700 students have enrolled for placements. For the present Phase 1 placements, the maximum package was INR 63.78 lakh, while the average package was INR 19.49 lakh. According to the institution, the firm Blend 360 has published the most offers.

IITH International offers higher than 2021

In the 2021-22 academic year, 13 international firms registered for Phase 1 placements, compared to 12 foreign companies in Phases 1 and 2 at IITH. Aside from that, 54 foreign offers were made in Phase I, which is a greater number than the previous year’s international offers of 46 in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 at IITH.

Within the first week of the placement process, the first graduating batch of BTech in the artificial intelligence department at IITH had an 82% placement rate. The number of students doing semester-long internships has also climbed to 51 this year, up from 33 the previous year.

IITH Director Prof BS Murty stated, “We believe in creating industry-ready talent with strong fundamentals, which certainly will fetch the dream jobs for the students. The various initiatives taken in the last two years, such as internship for BTech, interdisciplinary MTech and so on, have made us achieve these numbers, and we will continuously innovate to make our students prepared to fulfill their dreams.”
