The Staff Selection Commission issued the notification for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D 2023. The SSC Stenographer application form 2023 was also made available by the test officials along with the notification.
Through the official website, ssc.nic.in, candidates may submit their application materials for the SSC Stenographer 2023 examination until August 23.
Additionally, the commission has revealed the dates for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D exams. According to the programme, the exam will take place in October 2023.
There will be objective multiple-choice questions on the test, which will be given in both English and Hindi. Each incorrect response given throughout the exam will result in a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to the question.

Eligibility Criteria:
To advance to the shorthand stage, candidates must first meet a cutoff set by the SSC.
- For the written exam for stenographers in Grades C and D, there are different cutoff scores.
- Candidates who pass the written exam are entitled to take the shorthand proficiency test.
- The shorthand proficiency test has a qualifying purpose.
- Based on the candidates’ performance in the written test, a merit list will be created.

The application cost for the SSC Stenographer is Rs 100. Candidates who are female, from a Scheduled Caste (SC), a Scheduled Tribe (ST), or who have a benchmark disability (PwBD) and are qualified for reservation are free from paying the application cost.
