SSC CHSL 2023: Tier 1 exam for 1,600 govt jobs will begin today; here’s to know exam pattern, marking scheme

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 test 2023 will be held by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) from August 2 to 22 in order to fill 1,600 Group C positions in various ministries of the Union government, statutory and constitutional bodies, and tribunals.
There will be 14 cities in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh where the SSC CHSL tier-I exam will be held, 17 in the eastern region (Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, and West Bengal), 15 in Karnataka and Kerala, 10 in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, 13 in the northeastern region, 10 in the northern region (Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttarakhand), 12 in the northwestern region.
Different shifts will be held nationwide for the computer-based SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level, or CHSL 2023, exam. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 admit card, two colored passport-size photos, and a valid ID must all be carried by candidates.
The identity verification process will take into account photo ID cards like the Aadhaar card, voter ID, and driver’s licence.The candidate must present an additional original document, such as a copy of their class 10 grade report card, if their identity card does not contain their date of birth.
Date and Time of the 2023 SSC CHSL Exam
There will be three shifts each day for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam, which is planned for August 2 through August 22, 2023. The table below contains information on all shift times and reporting times for the SSC CHSL 2023 Tier-1 Exam.

Candidates from the unreserved category must receive 30% of the possible points, while those from the OBC and EWS categories must receive 25%. Candidates from all other categories who receive 20% or more will pass the test.
The English language, general intelligence, numeric aptitude, and general awareness parts of the SSC CHSL exam paper will each comprise 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
Candidates will have sixty minutes to answer the questions. Each right answer will be worth two points, while each wrong answer will cost you half a point.
