IIT Kanpur and Indian Angel Network (IAN) are pleased to announce the beginning of the “IIT Kanpur-IAN Future Tech Accelerator” programme, continued Rajnish Kapur, Managing Partner, IAN Fund®. The goal of this programme is to assist businesses in better understanding their target market, better shaping their product, and improving their capacity to engage investors through storytelling. The accelerator will work with eight companies in our first cohort, ranging from social impact to health tech.
“The collaboration between IIT Kanpur and IAN combines the knowledge and resources of one of India’s top technical institutes with those of one of the most productive angel investment networks. “I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the shortlisted cohort of eight outstanding startups under the “IAN-IIT Kanpur Accelerator Program,” remarked Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of FIRST & AIIDE-CoE. Their exposure to the Indian Angel Network and IIT Kanpur, two of the top startup ecosystems in India, will be facilitated by the structured curriculum. I think they will benefit much from this experience. I have big dreams for these startups. Such partnerships can significantly alter Indian startups by assisting them on their path to become successful business models.
To recognise the importance of National Startup Day in the constantly changing national startup ecosystem, the Program was introduced on that day in 2023. Its goal is to assist these domestic companies in implementing their cutting-edge technological solutions and making them market-ready.
