SET Exam: Eligibility, Qualification and Attempts

In the second week of January 2024, application forms are likely to be released. The exam will take place in the second week of May, approximately. The test will be computer based. Candidates who are interested can register for the same online.

SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test)

Symbiosis International, which is deemed University, conducts an entrance exam called Symbiosis Entrance Test, every year to let students take admission in the university for various undergraduate programmes. Courses like Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Mass Communication etc are offered in the University. All the processes from Applications to the Results will be done online. No process will be taking place offline.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

The eligibility criteria for taking admission in the university is:

1. Candidates should have passed 12th class with at least 50 percent marks, and SC/ST candidates with at least 45 percent marks.
2. Candidates who are in class 12th or are waiting for their results can also apply but candidates will need to submit their passing certificates.
3. Candidates from foreign can also apply but they’ll need to submit their Certificates of Association of Indian Universities.

Preparation

To attempt the exam, candidates must prepare for the exam specifically. Candidates should start preparing for the exam at least 6 months before to cover all the syllabus of the exam. Mentioned below are some points candidates should include in their daily time table to prepare for the exam:

Now, applications are still to be released but every aspirant should know how to fill the application form in order to fill it correctly.

1. Create a new profile on the official website, https://www.set-test.org/
2. Upload the required documents
3. Verify your registration with an OTP.
4. Pay the Application Fee
5. Fill the application form with correct information
6. Pay the institution fee
7. Download the application form after submitting and print it out for future reference
