Eligibility Criteria

For Clerk:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Must have passed Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computers with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
• Age: 18-37 years as of 01.01.2025 (relaxation as per Punjab Govt. norms).

For Stenographer Grade-III:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Must have passed Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computers, including Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
• Shorthand speed: 80 WPM in English and transcription speed of 20 WPM.
• Age: 18-37 years as of 01.01.2025 (relaxation as per Punjab Govt. norms).

Selection Process for SAS Nagar Recruitment 2025

For Clerk:

1. Written Test (29.03.2025):
   • English Composition: 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%)
   • General Knowledge/Awareness: 50 Marks (Qualifying: 33%)
   • Candidates must score at least 40% overall to qualify for the Computer Proficiency Test.
2. Computer Proficiency Test: Minimum 30 WPM typing speed in English required.

For Stenographer Grade-III:

1. Shorthand & Typing Test (30.03.2025):
   • English Shorthand: 80 WPM
   • Transcription Speed: 20 WPM
   • More than 8% of mistakes will lead to disqualification.
2. Computer Proficiency Test: 10 marks (Qualifying: 4 marks or more).
