The notification for appointment to Group D posts under Indian Railways has been officially released by the Railway Recruitment Board on 21 January 2025. Now those who are interested in being appointed to this post can submit their application form online between 23 January and 22 February 2025.

• Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (Apply), which is accessible at rrbapply.gov.in/.
• On the web-portal of the RRB Apply, you will see an option that reads ‘Create An Account,’ under the option of Apply, tap on it.
• You have to provide Personal Information and Contact Details, and hit the ‘Preview And Create An Account,’ to complete the registration process.
• After the successful registration, you have to login with your Email Address and Password.
• Now, you need to provide basic details, educational qualification details, posts preference, examination language, and exam centre details, and jump to upload section.
• Here, you need to upload a recent passport-sized color photograph (size: 20 KB to 50 KB), your signature (size: 10 KB to 40 KB), Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) and required documents in specific size and format, and jump to payment section.
• Pay the application fee using the debit card, credit card, NET banking, UPI or any other provided payment gateway as per your category.
• At the end, you have to review your application form for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 and submit the application form to take printout of the confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria

To submit the application form for Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 a candidate must meet the certain eligibility criterias in terms of educational institutions and age limit. You may check the details about it by going through the listed points.

• A candidate must have passed the Matriculation exam from an institution recognized by the CBSE, CISCE, or any State Board.
• Candidates who have hold a ITI Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate from an institution recognized by the SCVT or NCVT will be given the preference.
• One’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 36 years as of January 01, 2025, the upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 5 years for SC/ST.
• Additionally, there is an additional upper age relaxation for 10 years for Person with Benchmark Disability.

Application Fee

Individuals should know that refundable amount for General, Other Backward Class, and Economically Weaker Section will be ₹400/-, but those who will have paid only ₹250/- will get the full refund.

• Pointsman: 5,058 vacancies
• Assistant (Track Machine): 799 vacancies

• Assistant (TRD): 1,381 vacancies
• Assistant (S&T): 2,012 vacancies
• Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical): 950 vacancies
• Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel): 420 vacancies

Out of total vacancies, 13,957, 3,101, 8,153, 4,699 and 2,474 are reserved for General, Economically Weaker Section, Other Backward Class, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, respectively.
