RPSC Recruitment 2023: Statistical Officer Notification Released at Rajasthan.gov.in; Application Fee, Exam Pattern

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued a notification for 72 Statistical Officer positions. From September 15, interested candidates will be able to apply for the Rajasthan Statistical Officer test 2023 via the official website, rajasthan.gov.in.
Eligible candidates may apply online by October 14. The RPSC has established an age range of 21 to 40 years for the Statistical Officer. Candidates must have a master’s degree in economics, statistics, or mathematics with a statistics paper, or in commerce with statistics.
Candidates with credentials from the RS-CIT course and an MSc in farm statistics are also eligible. Additionally, students must have a year’s worth of job experience and be familiar with Rajasthani culture. Candidates from the general category and those from other states must pay an application fee of Rs. 600, while applicants from the OBC, BC, SC, and ST categories must pay Rs. Candidates will be required to pay an additional Rs. 500 in rectification fees if they make changes after the repair window starts.

The Statistical Officer exam 2023 is scheduled for two hours and thirty minutes. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions on the test in total, each worth one mark. There will be 40 questions on Rajasthani general knowledge and 110 on related material. For each incorrect response, the exam will deduct one-third of a mark.
RPSC RAS 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements for this exam must be well understood by RPSC RAS candidates in order to avoid disqualification. Even if a candidate takes the test and passes it, he or she is still subject to disqualification if it is later discovered that they are ineligible. - Maximum age limit: 40 years (as of 01/01/2023)
The age restriction is as follows for positions that are not gazetted, though:
- Minimum Age: 25 years (as of 01/01/2023)
- Maximum Age: 45 years (as of 01/01/2023)

A applicant must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from one of the following academic institutions in order to be eligible for the RPSC RAS test 2023:

- hold a qualification that is similar and has been approved by the government after consulting with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
