26 January 2025 Happy Republic Day 2025 Long Speech For Students and Teachers in English : Respected Principal, I heartily congratulate all my teachers and all my classmates on Republic Day today. Today I am going to put some of my thoughts in front of you on Republic Day. Let’s start with few lines –

Let’s do something together
Let us be the pride of our country
there is also a real republic
When everyone together becomes the life of the country.

I know that on January 26, 1950, my country implemented the constitution called the country’s pride in golden letters in the historical pages. Today the whole country is going to celebrate 76th Republic Day on 26 January 2025. On this day, I want to address the brave sons of our country, culture, military power, country’s integrity, sovereignty and all the countrymen of all religions.

On 26 January 1950, India accepted the Act made by the British for the Indian public. The law made by the British was imposed on the people of India. Due to this act, India was bound in the chains of slavery for many years. But this was not accepted by the country till now. In 1947, my country was freed from the slavery of the British and great patriots like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar along with Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who was at the post of His Excellency of the country, took membership to implement the Constitution of India. In the meeting held on December 9, 1947, it was decided that soon the country’s own constitution should be implemented. The responsibility of writing the constitution in India was entrusted to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar made the constitution of India written in golden letters after continuous hard work of 2 years, 11 months and 18 days with tireless efforts. This constitution was implemented on 26 January 1950 in the interest of the country.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected the first President of India in place of Lord Mountbatten (Governor General) on 26 January 1950 Republic Day. In India, this day is remembered with great pride and celebrated as a national festival with great enthusiasm. All the three armies of India (Navy, Army and Navy) salute the President. On this day the President and the Prime Minister of the country hoist the flag at the Red Fort.

All the countrymen are addressed by the Prime Minister of the country. Along with this, the Prime Minister of India is called upon to transmit new energy to the country. Along with this, addressing the country’s farmers, traders, employees, youth, women power, elders, and students, thank them for maintaining the unity and integrity of the country. India is such a nation where the message of integrity in unity is visible in abundance. Today in India, not one religion but many religions are worshipped. According to their own method, all religions are hardworking and alert towards the service, security and integrity of the nation.

If there is any kind of fire on my country or there is any kind of threat to the security of my country, then people of all religions and all classes of my country stand at one place and show the unity and integrity of the country. In my country, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians of all religions do not hesitate to come together to remove the crisis that has come upon the country. India is also called Hindustan. This Hindustan is made up of the power of all the religions. People of all religions and all castes play an important role in maintaining the unity and constitution of the country, with that i pause my words. Thank You Jai Hind Jai Bharat.

On this day in the year 1950, the constitution of our country came into force. That’s why from that day this day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in India. A comprehensive picture of this is that we are all Indians, Republic Day is celebrated as a united whole by all Indians. India which is a democratic country, its history is full of stories of many great leaders and revolutionaries.

A country whose foundation of the constitution was laid by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar drafted our constitution taking various amendments, acts and articles from different countries. Our constitution is not just a document but it is a framework according to which the government has to work. Our constitution also provides a set of fundamental rights to all the citizens which gives us certain privileges. The constitution also has a set of fundamental duties and it is the responsibility of every citizen to fulfill these duties. People have made the supreme sacrifice to protect the nation and its unity. Republic Day reminds us of the valor and sacrifice of these great personalities. We all salute these heroes for their selfless service and patriotism. It should be the responsibility of every citizen to follow the path shown by these legends. We must protect democracy, secularism, justice, equality and freedom at all costs.
