Registration for the CSAB 2022 Special Round has begun; hurry up because it is only open for a limited time

Today at csab.nic.in, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) began accepting registrations for the CSAB 2022 special round of counselling. In order to fill the seats that remained open after the preceding rounds of admission to engineering colleges, the CSAB special round of JoSAA counselling was held.

Only NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs are eligible for the CSAB 2022 special round (Except IITs).

The registration, choice-filling, choice-locking, seat-allocation, fee-payment, etc. processes are distinct from those of JoSAA rounds. The Business Rules and Process Flow of the CSAB-Special rounds are available on the website, and candidates are recommended to thoroughly review them, according to the CSAB.

To participate in the special round, all qualified applicants who had previously registered for the JoSAA round must now complete a new online registration at the CSAB website. People who enrolled for the JoSAA round will not automatically be eligible for the special round.

For the special round of the CSAB 2022, interested applicants must pay a registration fee of Rs 3000. The cost can be paid using an e-challan, a bank account, or a credit card.

The candidates complete new application forms for choice selection after finishing the payment process. For the special round, the decisions made during the first JoSAA rounds are regarded as invalid.

An official notification stated that candidates must show up for the document verification on the scheduled days in order for it to be successful.

Candidates for numerous undergraduate programs at various institutions, including IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs, can apply using the NIT+ system.

How to Participate in the CSAB 2022 Special Rounds

Step 1: Visit the official website at csab.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter your information, such as your JEE (main) application number.

Step 3: Make your selections.

step 4: Save and submit the application in step four.

Step 5: Save the application form for future use.

On October 30 and November 3, respectively, the outcomes of the first and second rounds of the CSAB special round will be made public. The chosen institutions will receive applications from the candidates.
