Rajasthan students were admitted to IITs
This year, 2,184 Rajasthan students were admitted to IITs out of a total of 13,801 who took the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. Uttar Pradesh came in second place with 2,131 qualified students.

Professor Subhasis Chaudhury, Director of IIT Bombay, disclosed the success rate of applicants from each state and union territory in JEE Advanced on his social media account. Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh finished third, fourth, fifth, and sixth, with 1,747, 1,644, 1,428 and 1,038 applicants, respectively, gaining admission to 23 IITs.
Rajasthan has topped the list of states once again in terms of passing the Joint Admission Exam-Advanced (JEE Advanced), a national-level entrance exam administered by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This year, 2,184 Rajasthan students were admitted to IITs out of a total of 13,801 who took the JEE Advanced.

According to data supplied by the IIT Bombay Director, 1.59 lakh candidates from around the country enrolled for the JEE Advanced 2022, with 16,614 of them being assigned places in IITs. There were 272 foreign nationals that enrolled for the exam, with 21 seats awarded.
