Raaz App Raises ~$1 Million from Fireside Ventures and Campus Fund to Address Bharat’s Male Reproductive Health Crisis
Raaz aims to be the leading male reproductive health platform for Bharat.
The platform offers Doctor-led and AI-powered personalized treatment plans, including medication, diagnostics, nutrition, and exercises, ensuring privacy-first, evidence-based solutions.
The fundraise will accelerate Raaz’s growth and enhance tech development to address male reproductive health issues across Bharat.
Bengaluru: Raaz, an innovative digital platform focused on addressing male reproductive health issues for Bharat, has raised around $1 MN (~INR 7.7 Crores) in pre-seed funding led by Fireside Venture and Campus Fund. This funding round also saw participation from notable founders and operators, including Altaf Saiyed (Traya), Raymond Russell (Pharos Fund), Vaibhav Domkundwar (Better), Shreyas Kumar (Fermat Commerce), Bhargav Tarpara (Greenlit) among others.
Founded with the vision to “make the next billion Indians possible,” Raaz addresses male sexual dysfunction and infertility. The platform offers a root cause analysis based personalised treatment program consisting of medication, nutrition, diagnostics, exercises and tech-enabled compliance. Every patient is assigned a doctor along with a personal health concierge who tracks their progress on various parameters and guides them through their healing journey.
Male reproductive health remains a largely taboo topic in India, with millions of men suffering in silence from conditions such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, testosterone deficiency and sperm count issues. A study by the Indian Journal of Urology reveals that nearly 1 in 4 men experience sexual dysfunction, yet only a small fraction seek professional help due to societal stigma and misinformation. Raaz aims to bridge this gap by providing privacy-first, evidence-based treatment programs that focus on sustainable, long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.
This funding round will allow Raaz (https://raaz.app) to enhance its platform and significantly expand its footprint. The investment will support clinical trials, targeted awareness campaigns and development of tech-enabled treatment protocols. Over the next five years, Raaz aims to become synonymous with reproductive health solutions in Bharat, tackling issues that traditional healthcare systems have failed to address.
Dr. Harshit Kukreja. Co-Founder & COO of Raaz says, “One night in a Delhi hospital, I treated a young man who had attempted suicide due to marital issues caused by erectile dysfunction. His struggle, after spending his life savings on quacks and fake remedies, left me wondering how many men across Bharat silently grapple with similar challenges. That incident stayed with me, and years later, it inspired Akash and me to spend time in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh trying to understand the problem better. We saw multiple go through this ordeal and it led us to start Raaz.”
Sharing his thoughts on the fundraise, Akash Kumar, Co- Founder & CEO of Raaz, said, “For the longest time, we’ve been fed the overpopulation scare but today, we are seeing a worryingly rapid decline in fertility rates. If the trend continues, India risks becoming old before we become rich as a nation. Building Raaz is our small attempt at reversing that by helping couples have children through innovative reproductive health solutions while upholding individual choice. We are happy to partner with Fireside Ventures and Campus Fund, whose dedication to impactful change resonates with our core values.”
Ankur Khaitan, Principal at Fireside Ventures, said, “Raaz is tackling one of the most underserved yet crucial aspects of healthcare in India—reproductive health. Their empathetic, evidence-based program and deep understanding of Bharat’s unique needs position them as true changemakers in the personalized healthcare space. We’re excited to support their journey as they work towards transforming millions of lives with efficacy and trust.”
Richa Bajpai, Campus Fund said, “We’re thrilled to back Akash and Dr. Harshit. With Raaz, they are addressing reproductive healthcare with remarkable sensitivity and innovation. Their fresh perspective and deep empathy for Bharat’s needs, combined with their tech-first approach, exemplifies the transformative impact that student entrepreneurs can create in solving critical healthcare challenges.”
