Candidates seeking admission to Odisha’s MBBS and BDS programs should be aware that the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell has begun registrations for the Odisha NEET 2022 counseling round 2 today, November 7, 2022.

“The registration for the 2nd Round of Counseling for MBBS / BDS courses begins on November 7, 2022. Candidates who qualified in NEET(UG) – 2022 but did not register themselves in the 1st round may register and participate in this 2nd Round counseling,” according to the official notice.
“The newly registered candidates who successfully have their papers validated and are put in the Revised State Merit List (after the second round of registration) must fill and lock options within the required date and time as per the counseling schedule,” the notifications stated.
Candidates who did not get seats in the initial round, and those who were allocated seats in the initial round, but did not make an application but they have to complete and secure new selections by the time and date specified.
The choice made by the applicants in the previous round are null and null. Therefore, unless they make and lock new options for the second round, it is taken as a given that they aren’t keen to take part in counselling and will be removed from the process, stated the announcement.
Odisha NEET 2022 counselling candidates who were registered as General candidates during the first round, but now wish to change their status to NRI category and candidates who wish to change their residence status must appear at the OJEE Office, Bhubaneswar, with all the relevant original documents from November 9 to the 10th of November (till 5.00 midnight) 2022, positively.
Candidates who, after taking admission in the initial round had the choice of either float or freeze but are not required complete any additional filling choices in the second round and consequently, won’t get a new choice to fill the form. Candidates who have selected freeze as an option and have not taken the first round will be able to keep their allotments. However, the allotments for those who have chosen ‘float‘ as an option can be increased or kept based on their rank and seats available according to their preference.
