Today, August 21, the academic calendar for the session 2023–24 was issued by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) of Odisha. The CHSE Odisha academic calendar may be downloaded by students from the Odisha board’s official website, chseodisha.nic.in.

The CHSE will soon announce the start of classes for Classes 12 and 11. Class 12 and 11 exam registration and form submission will take place from November 10 to November 25, 2023.

According to a report by Odisha TV, Former CHSE Chairman Basudev Chhatoi said, “Taking the approaching 2024 general election into view, the announcement has been made. There won’t be any issues if Plus 2 exams are held in February every year because students don’t attend lectures in college after taking test exams in December. They may start preparing for the test in February.

How to Download the CHSE ODISHA Class 12 Academic Calendar for 2023-2024

Students can follow the instructions below to get the academic schedule for the Odisha Class 12 board exams for the 2023–2024 session:

  • Step 1: Go to chseodisha.nic.in, the CHSE Odisha board’s official website.
  • Step 2: Find and select the webpage’s part that is devoted to the academic calendar.
  • Step 3: A fresh window will open with the academic calendar available for viewing.
  • Step 4: After carefully reading the supplied details, save the calendar in PDF format.

According to the CHSE Odisha Schedule, the Class 12 practical exams will take place the first week of January 2024, while the Class 12 theory exams will take place from February 14 to March 13, 2024. Either the final week of April or the first week of May will see the release of the results.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education is an independent organisation that reports to the School and Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha. It handles matters like affiliation, syllabus, and other matters relating to +2 students’ exams and results.

In order to oversee, direct, and advance higher secondary education in the State of Orissa, the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, was founded in compliance with the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982. Beginning on September 7, 1982, the Council’s administrative duties were carried out at a rented structure in Budheswari Colony, Bhubaneswar. On Plot No. C-2, Samantapur, Bhubaneswar, where it has been operating since 2 January 1996, the Council eventually built its own administrative facility. The university has the name ”PRAJNAPITHA”.
