NTA PhD 2023: Entrance Exam Date Announced; Correction Portal Opens on September 23

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the PhD admission exam for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU in 2023 would be held on October 26, 27, 30, and 31. The application correction period will begin on September 23rd.
The subject-wise datesheet is available on the official website, phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
Candidates who registered for PhD admissions at Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University will be permitted to update their application form till 11:50 p.m. on September 24.
“National Testing Agency is going to conduct Ph.D. Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU – 2023 on 26, 27, 30, and 31 October 2023 at various examination Centres located in different cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode,” the NTA stated in an official notification.

If there is an impact on the fee, an additional cost will be levied, and the modifications will be effective only once the additional money is paid.
“Because this is a one-time facility provided to the candidates in order to avoid any hardship, the candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be provided to the candidates.”

What Changes Have Been Made to the NTA PhD Entrance Exam Pattern and Syllabus?
For the University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), the NTA PhD entrance test pattern 2023 has been updated. The NTA has also changed the timetable in response to a “request from stakeholders.” The testing organisation also said that there will be no negative marking in the exam.
