NMMS Odisha 2023: Registration is now open; Schedule, exam will be on November 5

Today, August 5, the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 registration procedure will start, according to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of Odisha.
On the official website, ntse.scertodisha.nic.in, eligible students can register for NMMS Odisha 2023. On November 5, the Odisha NMMS 2023 will be held to award 3,314 scholarships to eighth-grade students.
There are no exam fees due from candidates. The application deadline is August 31. The following are the requirements to take the exam:
Scholarships are not available to students attending government residential schools like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, ST and SC development department residential schools, KGBV, etc.
The Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) are two of the papers included in NMMS 2023.
Candidates must have received at least 55% in the Class 7 annual examination or its equivalent in the general, SEBC, and reserved categories (SC, ST, and PH).
Students must be enrolled in government- or government-aided institutions in the state during the academic year 2023–2024 and be in Class 8.
The total annual income of the student’s parents cannot exceed Rs. 3,50,000.

Odisha 2023 NMMS Selection Process
Those applicants who receive higher exam scores will be admitted by the university’s official authorities. To be eligible for the award, applicants from the general category had to achieve more than 40% on each paper of the admission exam.
