NIT Rourkela Placements 2023: 24 students receive over Rs 50 lakh in placements; highest package ever

During campus placements for the academic year 2022–2023, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) received the most employment offers, totaling 1,534 from 330 different businesses.
More than 95% of the students from the premier BTech programmes were placed, according to the official declaration.
The NIT Rourkela employment package included salary packages for 24 students totaling more than Rs 50 lakh per annum (LPA). The highest offer, which was Rs. 52.89 LPA, was given to eight of those.
The average cost-to-company (CTC) rose from Rs. 11.15 LPA in 2021-2022 to Rs. 12.95 LPA in 2022-2023, an increase of more than 16%. The average BTech CTC is 14.22 LPA, or Rs. Landmark Group submitted three distinct offshore offers in all.
According to the institute, placement rates for registered students in the BTech programmes in electrical engineering, electronics and instrumentation engineering, ceramic engineering, and dual degrees in mining engineering and ceramic engineering were all 100%.
