NIEPMD Recruitment 2025: The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) has announced its 2025 recruitment drive for various consultant positions. NIEPMD Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Details

NIEPMD is offering a total of 18 consultant positions across different departments:

• Assistant Professor (Consultant): 4 (OT-4)
• Lecturer (Consultant): 5 (CP-3, OT-1, MS-1)
• Clinical Assistant (Consultant): 2 (SH-1 for CRC Karaikal), MS1)
• Prosthetist & Orthotist – Demonstrator (Consultant): 6 vacancies
• Special Educator (Consultant): 1 vacancy for Chengalpet

Eligibility Criteria

All positions have a maximum age limit of 56 years. The essential qualifications vary by role:

• Assistant Professor (Consultant): Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of 5 years of teaching or research experience. A Ph.D. in rehabilitation and RCI-recognized qualifications are desirable.
• Lecturer (Consultant):
  • Clinical Psychology: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with valid RCI registration and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Occupational Therapy: Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of 3 years of teaching or research experience.
  • Medical Science: MBBS with 2 years of experience.
• Clinical Assistant (Consultant):
  • Medical Science: Graduate degree with B.Ed. in Special Education (Multiple Disabilities) and 2 years of relevant experience. RCI registration is required.
  • CRC-Karaikal: B.Sc. in Speech and Hearing or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience and RCI registration.
• Prosthetist & Orthotist – Demonstrator (Consultant): Master’s or Bachelor’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics with 2 years of experience and valid RCI registration.
• Special Educator (Consultant): Graduate degree with Diploma/B.Ed./PG Diploma in Special Education (MD/DB/CP/ASD/ID/VI) or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience, and RCI registration. An M.Ed. in Special Education is desirable.

Salary Structure for NIEPMD Recruitment 2025

The consolidated monthly remuneration for these consultant positions is as follows:

• Assistant Professor (Consultant): ₹75,000
• Lecturer (Consultant): ₹60,000
• Clinical Assistant (Consultant): ₹50,000
• Prosthetist & Orthotist – Demonstrator (Consultant): ₹50,000
• Special Educator (Consultant): ₹45,000

NIEPMD Recruitment 2025 – Application Process
