NEP 2020: Ministry of Education to commemorate 3 Years of Implementation of NEP 2020; Bridging industry-academia gap

As the National Education Policy (NEP) will complete its three years of operation on July 29th, the Ministry of Education is all set to celebrate its anniversary.
The latest tweet from the Ministry of Education focuses on bringing industry and academia together for making a brighter future for the country.
The tweet reads,” #NEP2020 is bringing industry and academia closer in shaping a brighter future for our nation.”
It further reads, “Over 300 Universities and 2500 Higher Education Institutes have already established R&D Cells to nurture talents. This tie-up will empower both sectors to face the global challenges.”
NEP 2020 promises and focused on evolving the academic programmes as per the industry and the social needs of society. Under experts’ guidance, there are several courses underway to make higher education more effective for students. To make them future-ready.
The NEP 2020 also asserts on Intership and Apperentiship. The Ministry of Education department focused on the advancement of Research programmes to increase the employability rates across the nation.
At present, 10, 560 higher educations institutions have registered themselves with 71, 883 industry that provides internships to over 28.93 lahks through a National Unified Portal at india.gov.in
As per the official video of the Ministry of Education, Indian Students are being provided with prerequisite advanced education to make them future-ready for NEW India.

The National Education Programme (NEP), which came into effect on July 29, 2020, was developed with the goal of concentrating on an individual’s overall development with the aid of a flexible curriculum and inventive pairings of topics like mathematics with music and art, among others. The policy has placed a strong emphasis on combining traditional academic study with vocational training, allowing for multiple points of entry and exit, creating an academic bank of credit, establishing the Indian Institute of Translation and Interpretation (IITI), and introducing four-year integrated bachelor’s degrees in education (BEd) with dual majors, among other things.
