Today, August 10, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin accepting choices for the second round of NEET UG 2023 counselling. On the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates who are participating in Round 2 can fill out the options and lock their preferences till August 15.

From August 16 to 17, the MCC will process the seat distribution. On August 18, seats will be assigned to the Round 2 candidates.

Candidates assigned seats under NEET UG counselling 2023 round 2 will have to report to the colleges from August 20 to 28 in order to secure the admissions. A document uploading and verification process will start on August 19.

NEET UG Counselling 2023: How to fill Round 2 options

By following these instructions, candidates can fill out their selections and secure them for the round 2 NEET UG counselling.

  • visit mcc.nic.in, the MCC website.
  • Use the registration ID and password to log in.
  • Visit the section for filling in choices.
  • Look over the list of schools and programmes that are offered.
  • Choose and order your top preferences.
  • Prior to the deadline, save and lock the selections.
  • The filled-out choices can be saved or printed out for future use.

Based on the open seats following Round 1, MCC is holding Round 2 of the NEET UG counselling 2023. Following the announcement of the results of round 2’s seat allocation, there will be a mop-up round and a round to fill any remaining openings.

A registration fee of Rs 1,000 under the general category and Rs 500 for applicants in the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories must be paid in order to participate in round 2 of the All India Quota (AIQ) process for central university seats.

For round 2, August 14 is the final day to pay the registration fee.
