NEET SS 2023: Application Form Correction Window Opens; Last Date To Edit by August 21

The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super Specialty Courses (NEET SS) 2023 editing window was opened by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) today, 19 August, at 3 p.m. On the official website, nbe.edu.in, registered applicants can edit their NEET SS 2023 application form. Changes must be made by August 21 at 11:55 p.m.

NBEMS in an official notice, mentioned, “All such candidates who have successfully submitted their applications for the NEET-SS 2023 and made the payment of the examination fee during the application submission window would be allowed to revise their applications during the period from August 19, 2023 (3 PM onwards) to August 21, 2023 (till 11:55 PM). During this edit time, no new applications may be registered.”

The board added, “Before submitting the revised application form, the information may be amended as many times as necessary. After the form has been submitted, changes will take effect. However, once the amended application form is submitted, no additional changes—even during the edit window—shall be permitted.”

Candidates may change any information in their applications, according to the board, with the exception of the following information:

• The candidate’s name
• Email ID Phone
• Number Country
• Test City

The candidate will need to pay the price for each additional paper in NEET SS 2023 online if they opt to add it when updating their application, according to NBEMS. While the remaining exam money will be reimbursed after the exam if a candidate decides to drop one or more of the papers for which he or she has already paid the registration fee.

The National Board of Education administers the NEET SS, or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses), for admission to various DM/ MCh programmes. A qualifying-cum-ranking test is required for enrollment in super specialty courses. No other entrance exam is acceptable, according to the Indian Medical Council Act of 2016, for admission to these programmes. The NEET SS exam is administered yearly via computers.

NEET SS 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for NEET SS have been established by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Before submitting an application, those who desire to sit for the entrance exam are recommended to review the NEET SS 2023 eligibility requirements.

• A postgraduate degree (MD, MS, DNB, or equivalent) from a reputable institution is required of the candidate.

• Candidates would be eligible for NEET SS 2023 if they finish their postgraduate degree on or before September 30, 2023.

• He or she needs to be registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
