NEET PG Counselling 2023: Round-1 registration window opens at mcc.nic.in

For the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun accepting registrations. Candidates can register for the round one of NEET PG counselling 2023 on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. The first round of NEET PG 2023 registration and fee payment will be open until August 1.
Between July 28 and August 2, those who register during this time can fill out and lock their selections.
Four rounds of counselling for NEET PG 2023 will take place: rounds 1, 2, 3, and stray vacancy round. NEET PG 2023 counselling consists of multiple rounds, each with its own set of rules. For 50% of the all-India quota (AIQ) seats, MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling.
The candidates’ selections made during the registration window will be used to create the NEET PG counselling merit list.
NEET PG Counselling 2023: Important Information for Round 1
- Payment of the non-refundable registration fee and the refundable security deposit are required for registering in the main NEET PG counselling.

- Candidates who have been assigned seats must upload all necessary documentation to the MCC website.
- Physical reporting with original papers to the designated Medical/Dental College for Round 1
Candidates that were given a seat in round one (1) can choose to leave for free and move right into round two.
Only after physically reporting to college/institute can candidates who were given a seat in round one (1) choose to upgrade to round two.
If a candidate who has already registered is not given a seat in round one (1), he may participate in round two
(2) without having to reapply.
Candidates who want to move forward to Round 2 must report to the designated institute or college with their original Round 1 documents and satisfy the admission requirements.
If an applicant wants to upgrade, they must express their desire to do so in the college when the admissions process is complete.
