At 12 o’clock today, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will shut down the registration period for the third round of NEET PG counselling 2023.
Up until 11:59 PM today, eligible candidates can select their preferred universities and courses and lock them. On September 28, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Postgraduate Round 3 Counselling Seat Results will be released.
Candidates who received seats in the third round of NEET PG 2023 counselling must report to the designated colleges between September 29 and October 6, after which the round for open seats will start.
How should I fill up my choices during NEET PG counselling?
- mcc.nic.in is the official website.
- Stream (medical/dental), roll number, and password for logging in
- Begin selecting your courses and colleges for the NEET PG seat allocation.
- Choose ‘+’ to add a new option.
- Drag the choice to the appropriate place to change the order of any choice.
- Once you’re happy with how the choices are filled up, click “save and next” to lock the selections.
- The options will be locked automatically if a candidate forgets to lock them after filling them out.
- Take a printout of the completed options for your records.
Students seeking admission to 50% of seats under the all-India quota (AIQ) and 100% of seats in deemed and central universities as well as ESIC colleges must participate in the NEET PG 2023 counselling. After the second round of NEET PG counselling, MCC additionally conducts an additional mop-up round for 100% of the seats in deemed and central institutions.

NEET PG Counselling: Security Deposit
Unreserved students enrolling for AIQ seats and at central institutions must also submit a 25,000 rupee security deposit in addition to a non-refundable registration cost of Rs. 1000.
The registration fee for candidates who fall under the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories is Rs. 500, and they must deposit Rs. 10,000 as security. The registration cost is Rs. 5,000, and the security deposit is Rs. 2,00,000, for those applying to deemed universities.

Candidates must get a score more than or equal to the qualifying cut off set by the MCC in order to participate in NEET PG 2023 counselling. Along with the NEET PG 2023 results, the qualifying cut off for this year was also made public. The NEET PG Qualifying Percentile is included in the table below for applicants’ reference.

Counselling for Admission after NEET PG 2023
Candidates who pass the NEET PG exam in 2023 are then eligible for admission to the following colleges or universities.

- all available slots at deemed universities
- Government medical institutions with State Quota Seats
- State-funded quotas for seats at the state’s private medical institutions
