NEET MDS Counselling 2023: Top choices Among Students for dental courses; Round 3 Registration on Sep 8

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) MDS counselling for 2023 has been concluded by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). On September 8, round 3 registration will open at mcc.nic.in.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics and crown and bridge, and orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics are some of the popular courses among students, according to the second round seat allotment result of NEET MDS 2023 counselling. The majority of applicants chose not to upgrade in the second stage.
The following courses and colleges have been assigned to the top ten rankers in NEET MDS round 2 seat allocation 2023:

What paperwork should you bring to the 2023 NEET MDS counselling session?
A candidate who receives a seat through the NEET MDS 2022 counselling must show up at the designated institute so that the documentation may be verified. He or she must bring the following documents to authenticate the seat assigned.
- NEET MDS result 2023
- NEET MDS Admit card 2023
- BDS degree certificate
- BDS marksheets
- Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before March 31, 2023)
- Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC)
- Birth Certificate or class 10 marksheet
- Photo Id proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)
- Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
- Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)
What is NEET MDS?
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) administers the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Masters of dentistry Surgery (abbreviated as NEET MDS), which is an entrance exam for all postgraduate dentistry programmes provided by Indian institutions. An online eligibility-cum-ranking test called NEET MDS is offered once a year. There are no other exams, at the state or institutional level, that may be used to get admission to PG dental programmes besides NEET MDS.
Most dental universities around the nation accept the scores. 6,501 Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats in total are up for grabs through the test, with 50% of the seats being made available under the All India Quota (AIQ), 50% of the seats being made available under state quotas, and 100% of the seats being made available at deemed/central institutions and private colleges.
