NBE Cancels Tender Process to Conduct CBT Test for NEET PG, MDS, FMGE, and Other Entrance Exams

The NEET PG, MDS, FMGE, and other entrance test tendering procedures has been cancelled by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. “Tender for Conduct of Computer Based Test” is the name of the tender.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has determined to ‘Annul’ the Tendering procedure because no bidders have submitted a bid. No inquiries or correspondence in this regard would be answered, according to a statement from NBE.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), the government of India, has tasked the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) with the responsibility of holding standardised and rigorous exams at the Post Graduate level in the area of Modern Medicine.
The NBEMS administers all entrance exams for medical school admission, with the exception of NEET (UG).
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) oversees more than 1000 accredited institutions across the nation that offer training in 99 subjects, including both broad (Post MBBS & Post Diploma) and super specialties. More than 7,000 students enrol in a variety of courses each year at these institutions, under the NBEMS’s purview.
The National Board Of Examinations in Medical Sciences is not making an offer with this Tender; rather, it is inviting suppliers to submit bids.
According to an official NBE statement, no contractual obligation of any kind shall result from the tender procedure unless and until a formal contract is signed and executed with the seller by fully authorised Officers of the National Board Of Examinations in Medical Sciences.t.

Describe NBE
The National Board of Examinations, or NBE, was established by the Indian government in 1975. In order to introduce uniformity to the evaluation of applicants for postgraduate programmes in India, NBE was developed.

FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination
Candidates who completed their medical education at a foreign university yet want to practise in India must pass the FMGE licencing exam.
NEET PG, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test
The entrance exam is used to assess medical school graduates applying to postgraduate degree programmes (MS/MD).
NEET MDS, the National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test
To assess dental graduates for admission to postgraduate degree programmes (MDS), an entrance exam is administered.
NEET SS stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Super Speciality
For admission to all Super Specialty (DM/MCh) Courses, NEET SS is held.
PDCET, or Post Diploma Common Entrance Test
To assess medical school graduates for admission to the postgraduate diploma degree programmes (DNB Broad Speciality), an entrance exam is administered.
Super Specialty DNB CET
To assess medical school graduates for admission to the postgraduate diploma degree programmes (DNB Super Speciality), an entrance exam is administered.
Dental Specialty DNB
To assess dental graduates for admission to the postgraduate diploma degree programmes (DNB), an entrance exam is administered.
- NBE administers the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) to candidates seeking admission to Post-Doctoral FNB programmes.
- FMGE is a licencing test for applicants who have completed their dental education from a foreign university but wish to practise in India. It is known as the Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test (FDG ST).
