MP NEET UG Counselling 2023: Schedule for mop-up round released; Registration Begins Tomorrow

The Madhya Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test (MP NEET) UG counselling schedule for the first cycle of 2023 has been released by the Department of Medical Education (DME). Tomorrow, August 29, is the start of the mop-up round of registration for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in state medical and dental institutes.

On the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in, students can register.

The mop-up round registration deadline is September 4. On September 5, the department will release the merit list of registered candidates and qualified candidates. On September 6, the process of filling out selections will start, and candidates will have until September 10 to do so.

Candidates must report to the designated institutes between September 14 and September 20 after the mop-up round seat allocation results are released on September 13.

The results of the MP NEET UG counselling round 2 seat distribution for 2023 will be released today on the official website.

MP NEET 2023 Counseling: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements established by DME in order to participate in MP NEET 2023 counselling:

  • Age: As of December 31, 2023, the applicant must be at least 17 years old. The applicants’ maximum ages are open-ended.
  • As a requirement, the applicant must have earned a grade of “C” or above in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English.
  • Residence: The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh. If you are not a resident of MP but have completed your formal education in the state, you can still apply for MP NEET counselling in 2023.

MP NEET 2023 Counseling Process:

Profile Creation: Prior to registration, candidates must build a profile on the official website. To create a profile, candidates must give information such their roll number, secret key, captcha, contact information, and bank account information.

Registration:

Following the release of the NEET 2023 results, everyone who qualified for the test and wants to take part in the counselling will need to sign up on the DME website. They should be aware that registering online is required in order to fill out the MP NEET 2023 counselling application form.

Seat matrix and merit list: DME will publish a list of participating institutions and the seats that are available in each category at those institutions. The publication of the MP NEET state merit list will come after this seat matrix. All qualified applicants who submitted an application for MP NEET 2023 counselling will be listed on this merit list.

Filling and Locking Options:

Candidates who made the state merit list can move on to the choice-filling process. They will need to sign into the account they generated during the registration/application procedure in order to access the choice filling option.

The candidate who does not match the intended options will not be taken into consideration for the seat allocation procedure, it is crucial to highlight. To be taken into account for the subsequent phases of MP NEET counselling 2023, they must also lock their selections before the deadline.

Seat Allotment List:

DME will prepare the MP NEET 2023 counselling results based on each candidate’s merit ranking and the selections they made. The seat allotment list is a more often used term to refer to the MP NEET counselling 2023 result. Every time there is a round of MP NEET 2023 counselling, DME will publish a different seat allocation list.

Admission Confirmation and Document Verification:

Candidates who have been offered a seat and choose to take it must report to the appropriate institute for document verification. To the designated institute for verification, they must bring original certificates along with two attested copies. In order to secure their entrance, they must also submit the required tuition for the current academic year.
