MCC to Announce NEET PG Round 3 Seat Allotment Result Tomorrow; See Details

The round three seat allocation results for the postgraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET PG 2023) will be released tomorrow. The allotment procedure will be finished by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today. You can get the MCC NEET PG counselling 2023 seat allocation for round 3 from the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The doctors’ organisation recalled that, in order to fill open seats, the health ministry had lowered the NEET PG cut-off during the previous three years. In order to fill the open seats, the UDFA had stated that lowering the qualifying percentile criteria would not be adequate. Instead, the qualifying cut-off should be lowered. On the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in, there is no information on the change of the NEET PG cut-off.
However, the committee has posted the 13,245 virtual vacancies for the current round as well as the 25 newly added seats for the NEET PG round 3 counselling in 2023. By checking in with their registration number and password on the counselling allotment page tomorrow, students who have already enrolled for the counselling will be able to receive the seat allocation order.

Indian Medical Association (IMA) wrote to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in response to UDFA’s petition to the National Medical Commission (NMC) asking for a lowering in the NEET PG qualifying cut-off for 2023.
Following the NMC’s advice, the health ministry last year cut the NEET PG qualifying percentile by 25 percentile. The cutoffs for the general category, PwD General, and SC, ST, OBC, PwD were set at 25 percentile, 20 percentile, and 15 percentile, respectively, according to the updated criteria.

The number of seats available for each speciality course is indicated in the NEET PG 2022 seat matrix. The number of seats that are available for a specific group of candidates is also specified in the seat matrix. It would be made public prior to every round of NEET PG counselling in 2023.
